Ozone Dental has been completely amalgam free since 1986. As a well established holistic dental practice many of our patients initially come to us to get their amalgam fillings removed. Because we also provide most aspects of dental care, albeit with a holistic approach, many of these patients have stayed with us, and referred their family and friends.
We work with, and have formed strong professional relationships with, numerous complimentary health practitioners. Through these relationships we help them in the care of their patients.
As one of the first completely amalgam free dental practices in Australia we have been at the forefront of the holistic dental movement. As founding members of the Australasian Society of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (ASOMAT) we have been proactively involved in promoting the benefits of holistic dentistry to the general public since 1992.
We were involved in establishing the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) fellowship for dentists in 1998 and were amongst the first group of graduates.
Both Dr Briggs and Dr Platt are members of IAOMT (International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology).
